Ban local food and beverage taxes

Stops local units of government in Michigan from imposing excise taxes on food or beverages. Among other things, this bill bans taxes on soft drinks. Note: This bill is an appropriate legal and philosophical state pre-emption of local authority because it preserves and protects free exchange from encroachment.
