Ban local food and beverage taxes

A bill that stops local units of government in Michigan from imposing excise taxes on food or beverages. Among other things, this bill bans taxes on soft drinks. Note: This bill is an appropriate legal and philosophical state pre-emption of local authority because it preserves and protects free exchange from encroachment.
